To be honest, I probably wouldn’t wear the Rhett Eala-Collezione C2 shirts with the Philippine map embroidered on it. Don’t get me wrong, they’re ok. Just not my style, I suppose. For one thing, I don’t really wear polo shirts, and secondly, the logo is just a little too big for me–it reminds me of Ralph Lauren’s Big Pony polo shirt.

But when National Book Store launched the Moleskine My Pilipinas notebooks yesterday at Rockwell, it was a different thing altogether. I like notebooks. I collect them and always have one to scribble on. Right now, I’m using the baby blue one from a set; my best friend and I shared a pack (because Moleskines are really so expensive, boohoo) and he got the darker shade of blue. I may not have been enthusiastic about the Collezione-C2 shirts, but I like the notebooks better.
